The Riverina Redevelopment Training Academy is your pathway to gaining the skills and staff to work for the Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture.

The Training Academy is led by Skills and Jobs Centres, in collaboration with Wodonga TAFE and TAFE NSW.

The Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture is large scope of planned unapproved works, designed to meet the future needs of Defence for the next 30 years. These works will take place in the Riverina and Hume regions of NSW and Victoria, that includes:

• Albury Wodonga Military Area (including North, South and East Bandiana, Latchford Barracks, and Wirlinga)
• Blamey Barracks Kapooka (BBK)
• RAAF Base Wagga

The overarching project is valued at over $1.1b. Delivery phase starts 2024 and completion of last stage of works in 2031. This will incorporate a variety of elements, such as:

• Construction of new messing and living in accommodation
• Construction of new training facilities
• Refurbishment and upgrading of existing buildings
• Construction of new car parks
• Remedial works and upgrades to infrastructure services

Any business, no matter how small or large, can tender to become contractors for these projects.
